Principle
What the applications have in common
In every training room the alphadidact® Digital AV system carries the same thing: an HDMI signal with audio, from one workstation to all the others — whether it comes from a computer, a camera, a microscope or a simulator.
The path of the picture is the same in every field. It runs uncompressed over dedicated cabling from the sender box to the receiver boxes at the seats; nothing is installed on the connected devices, and the building's network stays out of it.
What differs is the shape of the room and the number of seats. A star layout reaches up to 100 workstations by way of satellites, a ring up to 50 student seats. Which controls sit in front of it is your decision: touchscreen, system keyboard or tablet.

Computer labs and IT training rooms
Every seat has a monitor showing either its own computer or the source at the front. Switching happens at the control panel, not in a program.
Tax authorities · police · armed forces
Government and military training centres
The installation works separately from the house network: picture, sound and control run over dedicated cabling, and the optional tablet control over Bluetooth.
Medical faculties
Medical skills labs
Simulators, diagnostic devices and laboratory equipment output a picture signal. The installation puts it on the monitors of the practice stations — and the picture of one station on all the others.
Dental education
Dental simulation labs
At the instructor's phantom head workstation the camera records the preparation; the monitors at the course seats show the movement while it is being made.
Anatomy departments
Dissection rooms
The picture from the camera above the instructor's table runs uncompressed to every monitor — including the seats from which nobody can look over a shoulder.
Microscopy in teaching
Microscopy training labs
The camera on the microscope is connected to the same installation as the computer beside it. Both pictures can be put on any seat, singly or in alternation.
Quotation
Which room is to be equipped?
Every installation is designed for the room in question: number of seats, existing equipment, preferred controls. Describe the room and you receive a design together with a quotation.
